Description
Pleopill AC 75 Capsule is an oral medication effectively used in treating hyperlipidaemia (high level of fat, cholesterol and triglycerides circulating in the blood). It is one of the first preferred medicine used in reducing increased lipid levels and also various cardiovascular diseases in patients who are at an increased risk of complications such as a stroke (damage to a part of the brain due to incompetent blood supply), heart attack (blockage of heart muscles due to the formation of plaques), peripheral vascular disease, angina (severe chest pain due to reduced oxygenated blood supply), etc. Always keep an eye on your lipid levels (cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.), while using this tablet. Take Pleopill AC 75 Capsule only upon your physician's advice.This medicine reduces the lipids which in turn decreases the risk of heart attacks. Side-effects of Pleopill AC 75 Capsule are dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, etc. Do not take this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. If you feel dizzy or tired, avoid driving a vehicle or operating machinery. Children below 14 years of age should not take this medicine. You can take this capsule after food. For the ease of remembering, take this medicine around the same time every day. Appropriate lifestyle changes like a low salt and low-fat diet, strict exercise, should be started and stop smoking to feel better along with this medicine. Do not stop taking Pleopill AC 75 Capsule unless your doctor tells you to stop.

Allergy

Altered blood sugar levels

Heavy alcohol consumption

Driving or operating machinery

Hematologic changes

Asthma

Patients with asthma may experience allergic reactions while taking Pleopill AC 75 Capsule. Hence it is not recommended for use in patients with asthma, especially those who had experienced allergic reactions with the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines.

Kidney Diseases

Patients with kidney diseases need special consideration while taking Pleopill AC 75 Capsule. The dose should be selected very carefully and the kidney function should be monitored regularly.

Rhabdomyolysis

Pleopill AC 75 Capsule should be avoided for use in patients with a history of rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown) due to the increased risk of renal failure and death.

Diabetes

Alteration in blood sugar levels may be observed in patients with diabetes mellitus while taking Pleopill AC 75 Capsule. Close monitoring of blood sugar levels is recommended for such patients.

Cognitive impairment

Patients with cognitive impairment (difficulty in remembering, learning and concentrating) can have serious adverse effects when Pleopill AC 75 Capsule is given. Therefore, close monitoring of the patient for any changes in mood or behaviour is recommended.
Food interactions
Consumption of grapefruit juice may increase the absorption of Pleopill AC 75 Capsule. It may increase the risk of severe adverse effects such as dizziness, headache, swelling of hands and feet, etc.
