Description
Phytoral Bar is an anti-fungal soap that consists of ketoconazole and triclosan. It is used in the treatment of various fungal infections of the skin. It works by damaging the cell membrane of the fungus and eventually kills it. This action controls and stops the spread of fungal infections. Phytoral Bar has side effects like burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Stop using this soap and consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or get worse. Avoid using this soap if you are allergic to ketoconazole or triclosan and if you notice symptoms like blisters, peeling of skin etc. It is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age as safety and efficacy data is not available. Phytoral Bar should be used as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands and the affected area with water. Apply the soap gently on the affected area and allow it to remain for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and repeat the same if required. Avoid contact with eyes, open wounds and mouth. Wash immediately in case of accidental contact. Phytoral Bar is an external preparation. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, nose, and, ears. In case of accidental contact, wash thoroughly with water. Use Phytoral Bar as advised by your doctor. Follow all dosing instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. If you notice any undesired effects, report them to your doctor immediately. It may take several days to see the effects of Phytoral Bar. Finish the entire course of treatment even if your symptoms begin to clear up after a few days. consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve even after completing the treatment course. How it works
