Description
Panex-CR 25 Tablet is an antidepressant medicine. It is used in the treatment of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (a condition that causes uncontrollable, reoccurring, and obsessive thoughts that lead you to perform repetitive behaviours), panic disorder (a condition that causes sudden feelings of terror and anxiousness when there is no real danger or apparent cause), post-traumatic stress disorder (anxiety caused after experiencing a traumatic event), and other anxiety disorders (mental conditions characterised by an uncontrollable feeling of anxiety and fear). Panex-CR 25 Tablet may cause some side effects like confusion, headache, nausea, dizziness, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like mood changes, irritability, dizziness, confusion, difficulty in falling asleep, etc. Panex-CR 25 Tablet may be taken in the morning, preferably with food so it does not upset your stomach. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It may take several weeks or longer before you feel the effect of this medicine. Hence, continue taking Panex-CR 25 Tablet for the prescribed duration. Panex-CR 25 Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, liver or kidney problems, or any other medical conditions before taking this medicine. Inform your doctor about all of your current medicines to avoid any undesired effects. Allergy

Serotonin syndrome

Serotonin syndrome is a life-threatening condition when your body has too much of a chemical called serotonin. Panex-CR 25 Tablet should be used with caution as it may cause serotonin syndrome, especially if used along with other medicines to treat depression.

Bleeding disorders

Use of Panex-CR 25 Tablet may cause unusual bleeding and bruising. Hence this medicine should be used with caution if you have severe active bleeding or a hemorrhagic diathesis (tendency to bleed easily).

Seizure disorder

Seizure disorder is a neurological condition in which your brain activity becomes abnormal causing uncontrolled jerking of the body. Panex-CR 25 Tablet should be used with caution if you have seizures as it may worsen your condition.

Manic episodes

Mania is a mental health condition that involves a state of high energy and elevated or irritated mood. Panex-CR 25 Tablet may occasionally cause or activate mania. Hence it should be used with caution if you have a history of mania.

Hyponatraemia

Hyponatraemia refers to low blood sodium levels. Panex-CR 25 Tablet may cause hyponatraemia in some cases. The risk is especially high in the elderly or if you are taking diuretics (medicines used to remove excess salt and water from the body). Your doctor may monitor your blood pressure and sodium levels regularly while you are taking this medicine.

Bone fractures

Panex-CR 25 Tablet should be used with caution as it may cause bone fracture if you have decreased bone mineral density. Hence, inform your doctor if you experience symptoms like unexplained bone pain, tenderness, swelling, or bruising.

Driving vehicles or operating machines

Panex-CR 25 Tablet may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some cases. Avoid performing activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms.

Sexual dysfunction
