Disease interactions
Avoid taking Painact SP Tablet if you have liver problems. This medicine can accumulate in the diseased liver and lead to further liver damage. Your doctor will suggest tests to monitor your liver functions while you take this medication.
You may experience exacerbation of asthmatic episodes while taking Painact SP Tablet. Hence it is not recommended for use if you have asthma, especially when you had experienced allergic reactions by using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines.
Gastro-Intestinal toxicity
Long term use of Painact SP Tablet can damage your stomach and intestine. Any symptom indicating ulceration and bleeding like chronic indigestion, the appearance of coffee coloured dry blood in stools or blood vomiting should be reported immediately to your doctor.
Prolonged use of high doses of Painact SP Tablet may cause kidney problems, such as painful urination and protein or blood in the urine. Hence, your kidney functions need to be closely monitored.

5-HIAA urine test measures the amount of serotonin in your body. Painact SP Tablet can interfere with urine test and may give a false-positive result. Inform your doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines before undergoing any lab test.
