Description
Pacimol Active Tablet is a combination of Paracetamol and Caffeine. This medicine is used to treat headaches, toothaches, period pain, and muscle aches and pain. It works by blocking the release of chemical substances that cause pain and swelling. Pacimol Active Tablet cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. This medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness. Therefore, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel drowsy or dizzy after taking this medicine. Pacimol Active Tablet can be taken with or without food. Avoid taking more or less than the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine for more than three days without a doctor's prescription. Consult a doctor if the symptoms persist. Pacimol Active Tablet is not recommended for use if you have kidney problems associated with the use of painkillers or severe liver problems. Also, inform your doctor if you have other medical conditions and about your ongoing medications. Pacimol Active Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Allergy

Kidney disease

Missed Dose

If you have forgotten to take Pacimol Active Tablet at a scheduled time, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for your next dose, skip the dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

Gastro-intestinal disease

Long-term use of Pacimol Active Tablet may cause damage to the lining of the stomach and intestine. Stomach and intestinal conditions like bleeding, ulceration, and hole in the lining of the stomach or intestinal wall may occur. If you experience chronic indigestion, the appearance of coffee coloured dry blood in stools, or vomiting of blood, contact your doctor immediately, as these symptoms are suggestive of gastrointestinal bleeding and ulceration.

Pacimol Active Tablet can interfere with the 5-HIAA urine test and give a false-positive result. It is advised to inform your doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines before undergoing any lab test.
Pacimol Active Tablet may be taken with or without food. Do not break, crush or chew the tablet. Never take more than the prescribed dose.
