Description
OXALGIN DP TABLET is a combination of Diclofenac and Paracetamol. It is used to reduce pain due to various conditions such as headache, toothache, backache, menstrual pain, sprains, and strains. It also provides effective relief from pain, stiffness, and swelling due to ankylosing spondylitis (pain due to fusing of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (a type of arthritis affecting the small joints). This medicine blocks the release of a chemical that causes pain and swelling, thus providing pain relief. OXALGIN DP TABLET shows common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. In some patients, this medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machines if you feel drowsy or dizzy after taking this medicine. OXALGIN DP TABLET can be taken with food, milk, or an antacid to avoid stomach irritation. OXALGIN DP TABLET relieves pain and swelling due to arthritic conditions but does not cure it. Do not self-medicate or use it beyond the prescribed duration. OXALGIN DP TABLET should be used with caution in people having a history of stomach or intestinal bleeding, heart troubles, asthma and severe liver and kidney troubles. Inform your doctor if you have a history of any medical condition or if you are taking any medication. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.
