Description
Ox Mazetol ER 150 Tablet is an anti-seizure medicine that contains Oxcarbazepine. It is used for the treatment of partial-onset seizures (a condition that occurs when abnormal electrical activity affects a small area of the brain). This medicine works by reducing the abnormal electrical activity in the brain, thus preventing seizures (fits). Ox Mazetol ER 150 Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, low blood sodium levels, acne, fatigue, blurred vision, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or become severe. Ox Mazetol ER 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Take this medicine for the recommended duration for better results. Avoid abrupt discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may cause an increased frequency of seizures. Your doctor may withdraw the medicine gradually over a period to avoid such undesired effects. Ox Mazetol ER 150 Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Withdrawal symptoms

Avoid abrupt discontinuation of Ox Mazetol ER 150 Tablet as it may cause increased seizure frequency on withdrawal. This risk is especially higher after prolonged use of this medicine. Impaired kidney function
