Description
Orthocare DN Tablet is a combination of Diacerein, Glucosamine, Methylsulfonylmethane and Methylcobalamin. It is used for the treatment of Arthralgia (joint pain), stiffness and swelling at your joints associated with osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a joint disease in which the two ends of your joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering (cartilage). Due to the absence of this protective covering, your joints rub against each other, leading to pain and stiffness. Orthocare DN Tablet helps your body to rebuild cartilage and replenish fluid around your joints (synovial fluid). It mainly helps by preventing the breakdown of cartilage and thereby improves the symptoms of osteoarthritis. This medicine relieves pain and swelling due to osteoarthritis but does not cure it. The common side effects of Orthocare DN Tablet are headache, diarrhoea, urine discolouration, dizziness, nausea and constipation. Seek medical help if these symptoms become severe or persist for a long time. It is advisable to take Orthocare DN Tablet with food for better absorption and to prevent an upset stomach. For the ease of remembering, take it at around the same time every day. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Orthocare DN Tablet based on the severity of your joint condition. This medicine is slow-acting, and used as a long-term treatment option, alone or in combination to treat joint pains. It is recommended not to self-medicate with this medicine and not to stop this medicine on your own. You will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level while taking Orthocare DN Tablet. Inform your doctor if you take any blood thinners like Warfarin or if you have any scheduled surgery. To make sure Orthocare DN Tablet is safe for you, share your entire medical and medication history with your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

How it works
Orthocare DN Tablet is a combination of Diacerein, Glucosamine, Methylsulfonylmethane and Methylcobalamin. Diacerein works by blocking the actions of a certain specific protein that causes swelling, pain, and degradation of cartilage at bone joints. Glucosamine works as a precursor for the production of certain chemicals which are responsible for building tendons, ligaments, thick fluid around the joints, and cartilage. Methylsulfonylmethane is a nutritional supplement that provides nutrition to your joint for better joint repair. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B that facilitates the production of red blood cells in your body and protects nerve fibres from damage, thus relieves pain.
