Description
Onabet SD Solution is a combination of Sertaconazole and Mometasone. It is used for the treatment of Tinea pedis (fungal skin infection of your feet). Sertaconazole works by stopping the growth of the infection-causing fungi. Mometasone works by blocking certain chemicals responsible for redness, swelling, and itching at the site of infection and provides relief. Onabet SD Solution may cause burning sensation, itching, redness, and dryness at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Onabet SD Solution should be applied topically on the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using the medicine for the prescribed duration to reduce your risk of re-infection. Onabet SD Solution should be avoided if you are allergic to it. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Concomitant use of this medicine and other medicines meant for topical use on the same area of your skin should therefore be avoided. Onabet SD Solution is meant for external use only. Use it as directed by your doctor. Close the cover of the tube immediately after use to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the tip of the tube. Use Onabet SD Solution at around the same time every day for the ease of remembrance. Ensure that you complete the course of the treatment as prescribed by your doctor. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless directed by your doctor. The infected area may cause itchiness. Avoid scratching as it will damage the surface of your skin and cause the infection to spread further. Do not give Onabet SD Solution to others even if their condition appears to be the same as yours.
