How it works
Chlorthalidone works by increasing the excretion of water and sodium from the kidneys. This helps in bringing down the blood pressure as well as swelling (edema). Cilnidipine and Olmesartan both relax the blood vessels, thus improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure levels. Their combination is thus effective in the treatment of high blood pressure.
