Description
OLMECER H 20 TABLET is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide and Olmesartan. It is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). This medicine works by relaxing the blood vessels and also increasing the water and sodium excretion from the body. Thus it promotes the smooth flow of blood and also allows your heart to pump blood more efficiently. OLMECER H 20 TABLET has some side effects like cough, nausea, headache, upset stomach, etc. This medicine may cause you to urinate more often as it works by removing extra water from your body. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, consult your doctor immediately. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. OLMECER H 20 TABLET may be taken with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor as it can cause your blood pressure to rise and further worsen your condition. OLMECER H 20 TABLET should be used with caution if you have kidney or liver problems, or diabetes. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicine before starting the treatment.
