Manufactured byMicro Labs Ltd.
ContainsAmlodipine (5 mg) + Olmesartan (40 mg)
Description
Olmat-40 AM Tablet is a combination of Amlodipine and Olmesartan. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine works by relaxing the heart muscles and blood vessels. This relaxation promotes the smooth flow of blood and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout the body. Olmat-40 AM Tablet shows side effects like swelling in your ankles or feet, headache, sleepiness, dizziness, nausea, and upset stomach. Usually, these side effects are temporary. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Olmat-40 AM Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will be decided by your doctor depending on your blood pressure level. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level in the blood. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without your doctor's consultation as it can cause your blood pressure to rise, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain). Olmat-40 AM Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicine before starting the treatment. Olmat-40 AM Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.
