Description
Ojen 0.3% Ear Drops is an antibiotic medicine that contains Ofloxacin. It is used to treat outer and middle ear infections caused by bacteria. It is also used to prevent ear infections after ear surgery. It stops the growth and multiplication of bacteria that cause infection. It is not effective against ear infections caused by viruses. Ojen 0.3% Ear Drops can cause side effects like ear pain, discomfort, headache and ringing sound in your ears. Consult your doctors if these side effects are persistent. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine may make you feel dizzy. Ojen 0.3% Ear Drops is taken as prescribed by your doctor. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment. For the ease of remembering, use Ojen 0.3% Ear Drops around the same time every day. Tilt your head and position the ear towards the upper side and drop the medicine as prescribed. Pull the ear lobe up and down to make the medicine run through your ear canal. Repeat the same for the next dose. Ojen 0.3% Ear Drops is not recommended for use in children below 6 months of age. Tell your doctor about your current medicines and medical conditions before using this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
