General warnings

Severe burns and cuts

Application on large areas

Salicylate poisoning

Usage of this medicine in higher amounts than prescribed may increase the risk of salicylate poisoning, especially in children. Report the use of aspirin or any other medicines to your doctor before initiating therapy with this combination medicine. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor on priority. Do not stop the usage of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Eye/Ear irritation

The topical form of this medicine should not be applied to the eyes, ears or cracked skin surface. Wash the eyes immediately with water if contact with this medicine occurs.

Topical anesthetics and food

Food should be taken only after an hour if this medicine is used in the mouth or throat. This medicine may impair the process of swallowing and may cause aspiration and risk of biting the tongue.

Use in Children

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients less than 16 years of age and only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.

Drowsiness and impairment of thinking

Use of this medicine may rarely cause drowsiness and may impair the thinking capabilities and hence driving vehicles or operating machinery after using this medicine is not recommended.

Missed Dose

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose

How it works
Choline salicylate works by blocking the nerve impulses originating from the area of application. It also decreases the production of certain chemical messengers in the body to reduce symptoms such as pain, swelling, redness, etc. Lidocaine hydrochloride works by blocking pain signals from the body to the brain. Benzalkonium chloride works by interfering with certain vital functions in the cell of the pathogen, causing the death of the microbes.
