ContainsAmoxycillin (125 mg) + Cloxacillin (125 mg)
Description
Novaclox Pead Tablet is an antibiotic combination of Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin. This medicine is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, throat, ear, sinuses, skin, heart, urinary tract and bone in children. Novaclox Pead Tablet works by killing the bacteria by damaging its protective covering (cell wall). Novaclox Pead Tablet is not recommended for treating a common cold, flu, or other viral infections because it is not effective in treating these infections. Novaclox Pead Tablet has some common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain and headache. Make sure your child drinks plenty of water if they develop diarrhoea as a side effect. In case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties, stop this medicine and immediately report to your child’s doctor. Novaclox Pead Tablet can be given with food to avoid an upset stomach. Your child's doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity, location of the infection, body weight and age of your child. Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Doing so may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. To make sure Novaclox Pead Tablet is safe for your child, share the entire medical and medication history of your child with your doctor. This information is critical as it will help your doctor to plan your child's overall treatment.
