Description
Neuropill Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Gabapentin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha-lipoic acid. It is used in the treatment of neuropathic pain (pain from nerve damage). It can occur due to various conditions like diabetes, cancer, spine disorders, thyroid problems, etc. Neuropill Tablet works by blocking the pain signals to your brain. It also helps in the formation of a protective covering (myelin) of the nerve fibres and repairs your damaged nerves. Neuropill Tablet may cause side effects like sleepiness, dizziness, weakness, and loss of coordination. These side effects are temporary and usually resolve when your body adapts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or bother you. This medicine may cause mood and behavioural changes. If you develop mood changes or suicidal thoughts, contact your doctor immediately. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine as it may affect your concentration. Neuropill Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach or as prescribed by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine as long as your doctor prescribes it, even if you feel better after taking few doses. Abrupt discontinuation may result in withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, fatigue, sweating, vomiting, depression, seizures, and hallucinations. Neuropill Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 6 years of age. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to this medicine. Also, let your doctor know if you have kidney problems or any other medical conditions. Consult your doctor before using Neuropill Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Allergy

Elderly

Missed Dose

Overdose

How it works
Neuropill Tablet is consists of Gabapentin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha lipoic acid Gabapentin works by stopping the pain signals from your damaged nerves to the brain. Thus, it relieves pain due to nerve damage. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin (a substance that protects nerve fibres) and heals your damaged nerve cells. Alpha-lipoic acid works by slowing down cellular damage. It also helps to restore essential vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C.
