Description
Moxif 400 MG Infusion is an antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the skin, lungs, nose, stomach, and intestine. It works by blocking the action of an enzyme required for bacterial multiplication. This prevents further growth and kills the infection-causing bacteria. Moxif 400 MG Infusion may cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, headache, dizziness, etc. It may also cause pain/redness at the injection site. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, inform your doctor if these symptoms become severe. Moxif 400 MG Infusion is administered by a qualified healthcare professional in a clinical or hospital setting. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your condition. Hence, follow the instructions given by your doctor. This medication is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses. Allergy

QT prolongation is a condition in which your heart muscles takes a longer time to recharge between a heart beat.Moxif 400 MG Infusion can cause QT prolongation, hence it is not recommended if you have heart conditions such as heart failure (condition in which heart is not able to pump sufficient amount of blood), arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm), electrolyte disturbances (abnormal concentration of electrolyte levels in the body) especially low potassium levels, and/or bradycardia (slow heart beat) as it may worsen your condition.
