Interaction with Alcoholmoderate
Description - Consumption of alcohol with Metaclop 5 mg Injection will have an additive effect and can cause central nervous system depression and/or impairment of judgment, thinking, and psychomotor skills.
Instructions - Alcohol should not be consumed while receiving this medicine as it may increase the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness. Avoid performing activities that need high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery if alcohol and Metaclop 5 mg Injection are used together.
Interaction with Medicine
Metaclop 5 mg Injection is not recommended for use in patients with gastrointestinal disorders like mechanical bowel obstruction, bowel perforation, or gastrointestinal hemorrhage. An alternative treatment option should be considered based on the clinical condition.
Metaclop 5 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with Parkinson's disease due to an increase in the risk of parkinsonian-like symptoms such as akinesia, bradykinesia, tremors, pill-rolling motion, and postural abnormalities. These symptoms will usually appear within the first 6 months of the treatment and subside within 2 to 3 months after discontinuation of the treatment.
