Description
Manohexy 2 MG Injection is an antispasmodic medicine, which is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and extrapyramidal symptoms caused by other medicines. It may cause dizziness, therefore use with caution. Do not stop without informing the doctor as it may worsen the disease.

General warnings

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome

This medicine may cause Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) in patients who discontinued the treatment or reduced the daily recommended dose. Any symptoms of fever, muscle rigidity, altered mental status should be informed to the doctor.

Tardive dyskinesia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with tardive dyskinesia which is an involuntary movement of the tongue, lips, and face unless the patient has concomitant Parkinson's disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition

Infectious Diarrhea

This medicine decreases the elimination of bacteria that cause diarrhea, therefore, not recommended in patients with infectious diarrhea. Inform the doctor if you are having severe diarrhea or received antibiotics before receiving this medicine.

Psychotic symptoms

This medicine may cause psychotic symptoms like confusion, delusions, and hallucination. It should be used with caution in elderly patients due to increase in the risk of these symptoms.

Hypertension

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with hypertension due to the increased risk of high blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is necessary while receiving these medicines. Withdrawal effect
