How it works
Ceftriaxone works by interfering with certain processes that help the bacteria to grow and increase in number. Tazobactam inhibits some chemicals produced by the bacteria and makes the bacteria more sensitive to ceftriaxone activity. Thus, their combination is better effective for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections.
