Description
Lupirtin 100 Capsule is a painkiller used to treat muscle pain, headache, nerve pain, post-surgery pain, etc. It works by inhibiting the transmission of pain signals and thus relieves pain. Lupirtin 100 Capsule may cause common side effects such as nausea, dryness in the mouth, diarrhoea or constipation, stomach discomfort, heartburn, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist for a long time or if they become severe. Lupirtin 100 Capsule should be taken exactly as advised by your doctor. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in the body. Do not skip a dose or discontinue the treatment without consulting your doctor. Lupirtin 100 Capsule is not recommended if you are previously allergic to it, or have liver problems. Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, any other medical conditions or taking any other medicines. This medicine is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.

Allergy

Myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis is a long-term condition that leads to weakness of skeletal muscles, the muscles responsible for movement. Common symptoms include weakness in hands and legs, difficulty in speaking and swallowing, fatigue, shortness of breath, etc. The muscle relaxant effect of Lupirtin 100 Capsule may result in worsening of your condition and hence is not recommended.

Hepatic encephalopathy

Hepatic encephalopathy is a condition of brain damage caused by impaired liver function. Lupirtin 100 Capsule is not recommended due to the increased risk of worsening your condition.

Cholestasis (Obstruction of bile duct)

Cholestasis is a liver disease that occurs when the flow of bile from your liver is reduced/blocked. Impaired liver function may result in the accumulation of Lupirtin 100 Capsule and may worsen your condition. Hence, its use is not recommended.

Liver Disease

Impaired liver function may result in accumulation of Lupirtin 100 Capsule and may lead to increase risk of side effects. It may further cause liver damage. Hence, the use of this medication is not recommended.
