Description
Lorfast AM Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergies. (Symptoms may include sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and sore throat). It is also used to treat conditions with the abnormal mucus secretion, allowing the patient to breathe freely and deeply. It should be used with caution in patients with a known history of gastric ulcers.

Allergy

Stevens-Johnson syndrome

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of Stevens-Johnson syndrome which is a rare but serious disorder of the skin due to the increased risk of adverse effects.

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

General warnings

Gastric ulceration

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of gastric ulceration or any other gastrointestinal disorders.

Liver Disease

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver impairment due to the increased risk of adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Kidney Disease

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney impairment due to the increased risk of adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney function, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Use in elderly

This medicine is not recommended for use in the elderly as the risk of adverse effects are very high.

Driving or Operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

How it works
