Description
Lomela Lite Cream is a combination medicine used for the treatment of patients with skin hyperpigmentation. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 12 years of age.

Allergy

General warnings

Use on skin

This medicine is recommended for use only on the skin. Do not apply this cream in your eyes; on your eyelids, lips, mouth, vagina, or the corners of your nose.

Use in children

Skin sensitivity test

It is advised to take a sensitivity test to rule out the possibility of an allergic reaction before starting the regular use of this medicine.

Sun exposure

Delayed wound healing

Vision disturbances

Use of this medicine for a prolonged duration may rarely cause an increase in the intraocular pressure, resulting in glaucoma. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Missed Dose

Infections

This medicine is not recommended for use if the patient is being treated for an active infection since it may suppress the immune system response. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered based on the clinical condition.

Diabetes

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from diabetes due to the increased risk of altered blood glucose levels. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Hyperadrenocorticism

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from a condition where the adrenal glands secrete an excess of steroidal hormones in the body. Suitable tests must be conducted to rule out this condition before beginning treatment with this medicine. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition of the patient.

How it works
Tretinoin affects the growth and maturation of skin cells. Hydroquinone decreases the formation of pigments that give a distinct color to the skin.
