Description

Listril 10 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and certain other heart conditions. It is important to maintain a proper diet and exercise regularly when taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you have a known allergy to it.

Allergy

General warnings

Hypotension

Symptomatic hypotension may occur in patients with volume depletion or who are treated with high-dose diuretics. Correct the condition before starting Listril 10 MG Tablet or start the treatment at reduced doses.

Hyperkalemia

Listril 10 MG Tablet may cause an increase in the potassium levels in the blood. Use with caution in patients with concomitant use of potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements and in patients with impaired kidney function.

Impaired liver function

Listril 10 MG Tablet may rarely cause liver injuries like jaundice or hepatitis. Discontinue the medicine if any signs of liver injury like increased liver enzyme levels.

Pediatric population

The safety and efficacy of Listril 10 MG Tablet have not been established in children age below 6 years.

Cough

Listril 10 MG Tablet may cause persistent nonproductive cough. It is resolved when the medicine is discontinued.

Missed Dose

The missed dose should be taken as soon possible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it's already time for your next scheduled dose.

Overdose

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of overdose.
