Lipivas 20 MG Tablet should be used with extreme caution in patients with an active liver disease. The dosage has to be suitably adjusted and clinical monitoring of liver function is necessary. It is recommended to discontinue the medicine if the liver function is abnormal even after reducing the dosage.
Any incidence of a muscle disorder either previous or active should be reported to the doctor. The dosage needs to be very carefully adjusted in such cases. Clinical monitoring may be required in some cases. Any symptoms like muscle pain, weakness should be reported especially if it is accompanied by fever and unease.
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with cognitive impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of the patient for any changes in mood or behavior is recommended. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
