Description
Lifepill 3 Capsule is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of patients suffering from both high blood pressure and hypercholesterolemia. Patients are advised to follow a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Allergy

Heart diseases

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with serious heart problems such as a heart block, heart failure, sick sinus syndrome, etc. due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Active liver disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with active liver diseases since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Circulatory Disorders

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from blood circulation disorders since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Angioedema

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of angioedema due to the increased risk of recurrent symptoms.

Renal artery stenosis

This medicine may cause symptoms such as blurred vision, dizziness, drowsiness, etc. in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Hyperkalemia

This medicine may increase potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia). This may cause serious side effects such as fatal cardiac rhythm irregularities. It is advised to avoid potassium-rich foods (potatoes, bananas) and other medicines that may increase potassium levels (potassium-sparing diuretics and potassium supplements) during treatment with this medicine.

Liver function impairment

How it works
Metoprolol relaxes the blood vessels and reduces the heart rate. Atorvastatin reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood. Ramipril relaxes the blood vessels and promotes the smooth flow of blood. Their combination is thus helpful in treating both hypercholesterolemia and high blood pressure.
