Description

Levozin 2.5 MG Syrup is a very effective and potent medication to treat year-round allergic symptoms associated with rhinitis and utricaria. Seasonal allergies that cause a runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing or skin itching and hives can also be effectively treated with this medicine.

When not to use?

Contraindications of Levozin 2.5 MG Syrup

  • Allergy

    This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to levocetirizine.
  • Kidney Disease

    Levozin 2.5 MG Syrup is not recommended for use in patients with end-stage kidney disease and creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years with an impaired kidney function.

Dosage

  • Missed Dose

    Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, then the missed dose can be skipped. Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

  • Alcohol

    - Levozin 2.5 MG Syrup is not recommended for use by patients who consume alcohol on a regular basis due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.
  • Other Medicines

    - Levozin 2.5 MG Syrup may increase the risk of sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with medicines that are sedatives or tranquilizers. It is advised that you inform the doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before beginning treatment with Levozin 2.5 MG Syrup.
  • Elderly population
