How it works
Albendazole works by decreasing the ability of worms to absorb glucose. This results in draining the worm's energy, eventually killing it. Levamisole paralyzes the muscles of the worms and reduces their ability to reproduce. Thus the combination is effective for the treatment of infections caused by worms.
