Vaccination

Alcohol consumption

It is advised that you avoid consumption of alcohol during treatment with Lefno 20 mg Tablet due to the increased risk of liver damage.

Missed Dose

If a dose of Lefno 20 mg Tablet is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

Peripheral Neuropathy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with peripheral neuropathy due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Immunosuppression

This medicine is not recommended for use in immune suppressed patients due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. An alternative treatment option should be considered based on the clinical condition.

Liver Disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary for patients with mild to moderate liver diseases.

Pulmonary insufficiency

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of lung diseases (pulmonary impairment) due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of pulmonary function is advised for such patients.

Renal Dysfunction

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with renal dysfunction due to the increased risk of severe side effects. Appropriate dose adjustments should be done based on the clinical condition.

Tuberculosis

Patients should be screened for active or latent tuberculosis before beginning treatment with this medicine. Patients with positive tuberculosis screening should be monitored carefully during treatment with this medicine for any reactivation of the infection.

Hypertension

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with hypertension (high blood pressure) due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of blood pressure is advised for such patients.
