How it works
Kofarest Plus Syrup is a combination of Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, Phenylephrine and Levocetirizine. Ambroxol promotes mucous thinning in the nose, windpipe, and lungs. Thus eases productive cough (cough with mucous). Levocetirizine works by blocking the action of a substance that is responsible for causing allergic symptoms. Phenylephrine acts by reducing the swelling of your blood vessels in the nasal (nose) passages, making it easier to breathe. Guaifenesin works by reducing the thickness of mucus in the airways, thus making it easier to cough up the mucous and clearing the airways.
