Description
Kenz 200 MG Tablet is an anti-fungal medication used to treat a variety of systemic fungal infections like chromomycosis, blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, coccidiomycosis, and paracoccidiomycosis in patients who have failed to respond to other effective anti-fungal therapies. It is not recommended for use unless the potential benefit outweighs the risks. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 2 years of age.

QT Interval prolonging drugs

This medicine is not recommended for co-administration with drugs like dofetilide, pimozide, quinidine, and cisapride that are known to cause elevated plasma concentrations of this medicine and may prolong the QT interval.

Liver Disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with acute or chronic liver diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

General warnings

Liver Disease

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. QT prolongation

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a known history of arrhythmias, heart diseases, and patients who are on medicines that prolong QT intervals due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Kidney disease

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Use in Children

This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 2 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Adrenal insufficiency

Use of this medicine at high doses may decrease the adrenal corticosteroid secretion and hence caution is advised in patients with adrenal insufficiency. The recommended dose should not exceed 400 mg. Close monitoring of adrenal function, appropriate dose adjustment, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Driving or Operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause blurred vision or dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
