ContainsGlucosamine (5 %w/w) + Chondroitin (1 %w/w)
Description
Jointace Plus Gel is a combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin. It is used externally as a massage gel to build fluid around joints in osteoarthritis. It is a condition in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of the protective covering (cartilage). Due to the absence of this protective covering, the joints rub against each other leading to pain and stiffness. Your doctor may also prescribe this medicine for neck pain and back pain. Jointace Plus Gel helps your body to rebuild cartilage and replenish fluid (synovial fluid) around your joints. It mainly helps to prevent the breakdown of cartilage and thereby improves the symptoms of osteoarthritis. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity of your joint condition. Jointace Plus Gel rarely shows side effects. However, some people may experience redness, swelling or itching at the site of application. These side effects resolve without treatment. Consult your doctor at the earliest if any of these side effects worsen. Avoid using it if you are allergic to it. Jointace Plus Gel should be applied as per your doctor’s instructions. Clean and pat dry the affected site before applying Jointace Plus Gel. Apply a thin layer of gel and gently massage to uniformly spread over the affected site. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, open wounds, or cuts. Rinse thoroughly with water in case of contact. Seek medical attention if you notice an allergic reaction after this medicine comes in contact with your eyes, mouth, open wounds or cuts. Jointace Plus Gel can react with other medicines. Inform your doctor about all your medical conditions and the medicines you are taking for them. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

How it works
Jointace Plus Gel is a massage gel containing Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Glucosamine works as a precursor for the production of certain chemicals that are responsible for building tendons, ligaments, thick fluid around the joints, and cartilage. Chondroitin is a normal constituent of cartilage (a protective layer at the ends of bones). It prevents cartilage from breaking down and can also stimulate its repair mechanisms.
