Description

Itopride is an effectively increases movement of food and facilitates emptying of the stomach. It is used for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Functional Dyspepsia, and other associated motility disorders.

Allergy

Mechanical bowel obstruction

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having a blockage in the intestine.

Parkinson's disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having dopamine related disorders like Parkinson's disease.

Bleeding of stomach and intestine

Report any instance indicating bleeding of the stomach like presence of blood in stools, black or coffee colored stools to the doctor. This medicine should not be used if bleeding is evident or even suspected.

Mechanical obstruction of stomach

Report any incidence indicating intestinal blockage like severe bloating, nausea, vomiting, severe abdominal cramps, constipation etc to the doctor. Use of this medicine is not recommended in such cases.

Missed Dose
