Description
Ipravent Respirator Solution is used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a group of lung conditions that cause blockage of airflow resulting in breathing difficulty), asthma (narrowing of the airways with excessive mucous production). It relaxes and widens the blocked air passages of your lungs and makes breathing easier. Ipravent Respirator Solution may cause side effects such as dizziness, headache, cough, throat irritation, dry mouth, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Ipravent Respirator Solution should be administered exactly as directed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on your clinical condition. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own, as it may cause your symptoms to become worse. Ipravent Respirator Solution should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about all your current medications to avoid any undesired effects. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Ipravent Respirator Solution may cause this condition, resulting in increased wheezing. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience breathing problems and worsening of your condition after using this medicine.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a condition in which your intraocular pressure (fluid pressure inside your eyeballs) is abnormally high, which can lead to optic nerve damage and eventual loss of your vision. Ipravent Respirator Solution should be used with caution if you have glaucoma due to the increased risk of worsening your condition.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia

Ipravent Respirator Solution may cause urinary retention (a condition in which you cannot empty all the urine from your bladder). Hence, it should be used with caution if you have benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlargement of the prostate gland in men that can compress the urinary tube and obstruct urine flow), as it may worsen your condition.

Cystic fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic life-threatening condition that affects your lungs and digestive system. Ipravent Respirator Solution should be used with caution if you have cystic fibrosis as it may increase the risk of side effects.
