Description

IncobotulinumtoxinA is a chemical substance produced from a bacteria called Clostridium botulinum which is used for the treatment of spasticity of the upper limb, cervical dystonia (severe spasms in the neck muscles), certain eye muscle conditions that occur due to nerve disorders, and chronic drooling caused by neurological disorders in adult patients. It is also used for the improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (wrinkles between the eyebrows) in adults.

Severe allergic reactions

Driving or operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause loss of strength, drowsiness, dizziness, drooping eyelids, or visual disturbances in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery immediately after treatment with this medicine.

Infections

This medicine should not be used in patients with an infection at the proposed therapy site since it may worsen the patient's existing condition.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
