How it works
Imigem Injection is composed of Imipenem and Cilastatin. Imipenem works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (protective outer covering of the bacteria). This eventually leads to the death of bacteria. Cilastatin prevents the breakdown of Imipenem in the kidneys and thus increases its effectiveness.
