Description
Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment is used to reduce swelling of your cornea (the transparent front surface of the eye) that may occur due to surgery, infection, trauma, or other eye conditions. This medicine helps to draw fluid out of the cornea and reduces swelling. Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment may cause side effects such as blurred vision, itchiness, redness, irritation, and burning/stinging sensation in your eyes. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment is meant for use in your eyes only. Apply it to your eyes as directed by your doctor. Use this medicine for the prescribed duration for better results. Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any other eye problems and about all your current medications. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.

General warnings

Driving vehicles or operating machines

Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment may cause short-term blurring of vision, burning sensation, or discomfort in the eyes after application. If you experience such symptoms, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines.

Contact lens

If you have cornea oedema (swelling of the cornea, front surface of the eyes) or other eye problems, consult your doctor to understand if it is appropriate to wear contact lenses. In case you are using contact lenses, remove them before applying Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment. Wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back in your eyes.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a dose of Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.

Overdose

As Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment is intended for external use, the likelihood of side effects due to an overdose is low. However, do not administer more than the prescribed dose.

Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment is meant for external use only. Use it as directed by your doctor. Avoid touching the tip of the tube against your eye or other surfaces. Close the cover of the tube after administration to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the tip of the tube. Use Hypersol-6 Eye Ointment at around the same time daily for the ease of remembering. Do not touch your eyes with unwashed hands to prevent the risk of eye irritation or infections.
