This may cause severe side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, increased thirst, increased hunger, mood changes, extreme fatigue, etc.
Interaction with Medicine
The requirement of insulin may be reduced in patients with renal impairment. Blood glucose levels should be monitored closely and the treatment should be initiated at lower doses for such patients.
