Description
HHSALIC 6 Ointment is a combination of Mometasone and Salicylic Acid. It is a topical medicine used for skin conditions such as psoriasis (a condition in which skin cells build up and form dry, scaly, and itchy patches), eczema (thick, dry, and itchy skin), and dermatitis (skin irritation). HHSALIC 6 Ointment works by decreasing the production of certain chemicals in your body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. It also softens and loosens the scaly or thickened skin and sheds the dead skin. HHSALIC 6 Ointment may cause some side effects like burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. However, these side effects are temporary and resolve with time. Before starting the treatment, your doctor may recommend performing a patch test by applying a small amount of this medicine to a small area of your skin to ensure you do not experience any undesired effects. Discontinue the use if you experience excessive itching or swelling. HHSALIC 6 Ointment is recommended for external use only. Clean and pat dry the affected area before applying this medication. Apply HHSALIC 6 Ointment to the affected area as instructed by your doctor. Use it for the recommended duration to get maximum benefits. If you do not notice any improvement in your condition even after two weeks, consult your doctor for further guidance. HHSALIC 6 Ointment should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions or using any other topical medicines. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.
