Description
Halostrol-S 6% Ointment is a topical medicine composed of Ulobetasol and Salicylic Acid. It is used to treat psoriasis (a skin condition that causes red, itchy scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk, and scalp). This medicine works by reducing the production of chemical substances that cause swelling and itching. Halostrol-S 6% Ointment can cause side effects like exfoliation of skin (removal of dead skin), redness, and irritation at the site of application. Most of these side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Halostrol-S 6% Ointment is for external use only.
