Description
Glutahenz Sachet is an amino acid (a building block to make protein in your body). It is used as a dietary supplement if you have glutamine deficiency due to injury, trauma, or a medical condition like sickle cell anaemia (an inherited red blood cell disorder in which the red blood cells are not shaped as they should be and get damaged quickly). Glutahenz Sachet works by preventing the damage of red blood cells. Glutahenz Sachet may cause some side effects like constipation, nausea, headache, stomach pain, etc. However, these side effects are temporary and subside with time. Consult your doctor if they persist or become severe. Glutahenz Sachet may be taken with food or as prescribed by your doctor. The powder should be mixed with a liquid or soft wet food before consumption. Take Glutahenz Sachet at the same time daily for the ease of remembering. Avoid taking more than the recommended dose. Glutahenz Sachet should not be taken if you are allergic to it. This medicine is not recommended for use if you have severe liver or kidney problems, where protein intake is restricted. Thus, inform your doctor if you have any medical condition. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking the medicine. Glutahenz Sachet is not recommended for use in children below five years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
