Description
Glifil M Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine containing Glibenclamide and Metformin. It is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults. Glifil M Tablet helps control blood sugar levels by increasing insulin (a hormone that enables your body to use sugar) release and preventing the breakdown of carbohydrates into sugar. Glifil M Tablet may cause side effects like headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhoea, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Glifil M Tablet may also cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar levels) characterised by symptoms like sweating, dizziness, headache, and shaking. Thus, it is recommended to have regular meals and always carry a fast-acting sugar source such as fruit juice, candy, raisins, etc. Glifil M Tablet is a prescription medicine and should be taken exactly as advised by your doctor. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Do not skip a dose or discontinue the treatment as it may cause an increase in your blood sugar levels.
