Description
Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that can be used as an eye and ear drop based on your doctor's instruction. As an eyedrop, this antibiotic is used to treat infections of the cornea (a transparent layer that covers the front part of the eye) and conjunctivitis or pink eye caused by bacteria. As an eardrop, this antibiotic is used to treat outer and middle ear infections caused by bacteria. It is also used to prevent ear infection after ear surgery. Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops is effective against a large number of bacteria. It kills or prevents the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against eye infections caused by viruses. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment. For the ease of remembering, use this eye/ear drops around the same time every day. You should wash your hands properly before administering Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops. Do not touch the tip of the dropper. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label and administer the drops into the affected organ exactly as directed. You will start to feel better in a couple of days after using this levofloxacin eye/ear drops.

Antibiotic resistance

Driving or operating machinery

Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops may cause short term blurring of vision, burning sensation or discomfort in the eyes when it is used. You should be cautious about these symptoms before driving a vehicle or operating machinery.

Use in children

Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops is not recommended for use in children less than 1 year of age unless directed by your doctor.

Contact lens

Do not wear contact lenses when you are suffering from an eye infection.

Contamination

Do not touch the tip of the dropper or any other surface while administering Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops as this may lead to contamination of this medicine.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a dose of Glevo 0.5 % Eye/Ear Drops. And if a dose is skipped, do not add it up to the next dose.
