Gasofilm OD Strip is a medicine that contains Simethicone. It is used to reduce excessive gas in the stomach and relieve the symptoms like stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, fullness, and bloating/flatulence (accumulation of gas in the stomach). This medicine works by reducing stomach discomfort by expelling gas. Gasofilm OD Strip has mild side effects like nausea and constipation. These side effects subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms bother you for a long time or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Gasofilm OD Strip is to be taken with food before bedtime. Take it in the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose as it may lead to undesirable effects. Gasofilm OD Strip may not be suitable for all people. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems and about all your ongoing medicines.
