Description
Galvate 0.025 % Lotion is a topical medicine that contains Beclomethasone. It is used to relieve swelling, redness, and itching of the skin associated with various skin conditions such as dermatitis (swelling in the skin), psoriasis (a skin disease that causes red, itchy scaly patches), eczema (a skin condition in which skin becomes rough and inflamed associated with irritation), etc. Galvate 0.025 % Lotion works by preventing the release of substances that cause swelling, redness, and itching on your skin. Galvate 0.025 % Lotion shows some side effects like burning sensation, irritation, itching, or dryness at the site of application. These side effects may subside themselves as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms bother you. Do not use Galvate 0.025 % Lotion if you are allergic to it. Galvate 0.025 % Lotion is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse with plenty of water in case of accidental contact. Use it regularly as prescribed by your doctor. Wash and dry the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer of the lotion over the affected area. Do not cover the affected area with bandages unless instructed by your doctor. Galvate 0.025 % Lotion is used in relieving symptoms of skin conditions. Apply a thin layer of Galvate 0.025 % Lotion to the affected area of your skin as instructed by your doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply Galvate 0.025 % Lotion in more or fewer quantities than prescribed. Avoid the use of Galvate 0.025 % Lotion on your face unless advised by your doctor. Do not use it for more than five days. Remember to wash your hands before and after each application.
