Description
Gabax 100 MG Capsule is an antiepileptic medicine used in the treatment of neuropathic pain (nerve pain due to damage or injury to your nerves). Nerve damage may occur due to various conditions like diabetes, cancer, spine disorders, thyroid problems, or HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) infection. It can also be used to treat epilepsy (abnormal brain activity, causing seizures) in combination with other medicines. Gabax 100 MG Capsule works by reducing the abnormal electrical activity and blocking the movement of pain signals in your brain. Gabax 100 MG Capsule causes side effects like fatigue, loss of coordination, dizziness, and drowsiness. These side effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects are worrying you. This medicine may cause mood and behavioural changes. If you develop mood changes or suicidal thoughts, contact your doctor immediately. Gabax 100 MG Capsule can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for the prescribed duration, even if you feel better after few doses. Complete the whole course to see the maximum benefits. Gabax 100 MG Capsule is not recommended in children less than 6 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease or any other medical conditions. You should not stop taking this medicine unless advised by your doctor. If stopped abruptly, you might experience withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, fatigue, sweating, vomiting, depression, seizures, and hallucinations. Driving or operating machines

Gabax 100 MG Capsule may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some people. Avoid performing activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms.

Missed Dose

You may also experience withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, fatigue, sweating, vomiting, depression, seizures, and hallucinations. Avoid taking this medicine with an antacid (a medicine used to relieve acidity) as it can reduce the absorption of Gabax 100 MG Capsule in your body. Avoid driving or performing any activity that requires mental focus as Gabax 100 MG Capsule can cause sleepiness and/or drowsiness which can affect your ability to focus.
