Description
Formin 500 MG Tablet is an antihyperglycemic medicine used to control high blood sugar levels. It is the first preferred medicine effectively used in people with type II diabetes (a condition where your body cannot produce sufficient insulin or resists insulin). Formin 500 MG Tablet helps in insulin production, which in turn reduces the excess blood sugar levels in your body. It also helps in minimizing the risk of diabetes-associated complications such as blindness, kidney damage, stroke (decreased blood flow to your brain), and heart attack. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is necessary while taking this tablet. Formin 500 MG Tablet may cause side effects like headache, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, reduced blood sugar levels, weight gain, etc. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Alcohol intake can also cause reduced blood sugar levels. You may feel tired or uneasy during the treatment at the initial stages, hence avoid driving vehicles or operating machines. Formin 500 MG Tablet can be taken with food for better absorption. For the ease of remembering, take this tablet around the same time every day. Avoid taking Formin 500 MG Tablet for a long period unless prescribed by your physician as it may cause severe side effects.
