Foristal Long 2.5 mg Tablet is an antihistamine medication used for the relief of a runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, itchy throat, sore throat, etc. caused by allergic rhinitis and other upper respiratory allergies. The topical form of this medicine is also used for the relief of itchy skin in eruptive skin diseases such as chicken-pox or any skin disorders.

General warnings

Use in elderly population

This medicine should be used with caution in individuals who are 60 years old and above due to an increased risk of dizziness, drowsiness, and low blood pressure. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Driving or operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause tiredness, drowsiness, or dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Seizures

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with seizure disorders due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient
