Description
Fml Neo Eye Drops is a combination of Neomycin and Fluorometholone. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections. This medicine works by killing the bacteria and suppressing the pain signals responsible for pain, redness, and irritation. Fml Neo Eye Drops has some side effects like mild eye irritation, itching, blurred vision, etc. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Fml Neo Eye Drops should be used only for eyes. Follow all the instructions given by your doctor or mentioned on the prescription label. Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper close to your eye with the tip facing downwards. Squeeze the dropper so that a drop of medicine falls in the pocket. Do not use more than the recommended drops. Close your eyes for two to three minutes and repeat the same for the next dose. Fml Neo Eye Drops is not advisable for children below two years of age as the safety and efficacy data for use is not available. Inform your doctor if you have any other eye disorders or health issues. Also, inform about all your ongoing medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.

Infections

Use Fml Neo Eye Drops with caution as it may suppress your immune system (defence system of your body that fights infections) and may lead to secondary infections. This medicine is not recommended for use in virus and fungal eye infections.

Corneal damage

The cornea is the outer layer of your eyes. Use Fml Neo Eye Drops with caution and avoid using it for a longer duration than prescribed as it may cause thinning of the cornea and small ulcerations (open sores).

Driving vehicles and operating machines

Fml Neo Eye Drops may cause short term blurring of vision, burning sensation or discomfort in your eyes when installed in your eyes. Avoid driving vehicles and operating heavy machines immediately after using this medication.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a dose of Fml Neo Eye Drops. And if a dose is skipped, do not add it up to the next dose.

Fml Neo Eye Drops is for external use only. Administer it as directed by your doctor. Seek emergency medical treatment in case of any side effects. Avoid using contact lenses for 15 minutes after installing these eye drops as it may cause discolouration of your lenses. Do not touch the tip of the dropper to your eyes as it may get contaminated for the next use. Do not share the same eye drop with others as there is a higher chance of spreading eye infections if the medicine is contaminated. Do not use this medicine for more than one week unless prescribed by your doctor as it may cause side effects. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed.
