Fludrocortisone

Description

Fludrocortisone is a mineralocorticoid used for the treatment of Addison's disease (a condition where the adrenal gland doesn't produce enough hormones) and other salt-losing forms of congenital adrenogenital syndrome (a group of inherited disorders that limits the hormone production of the adrenal gland). This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

Ocular herpes simplex

Peptic ulcer disease
